Fresh Peach Pie

2 c. powdered sugar

1/2 c. butter

2 egg yolks

Fold in 2 egg whites

3 large peaches

1/2 pint cream

Chill several hours or overnite

I thought this recipe was perfect after the pie crust recipe. We are set to make a pie! Does peach pie sound southern to you, it does to me. Sort like something they ate in the movie Steel Magnolias. I think in the recipes where there are not a lot of detail on how to put it all together, you just put it all in and beat it together, that is my guess!

Like I said, I do not make pies, but I have a great Southern Living pie plate that I use for other things, like hot dips and desserts. I just may have to try a pie this winter...
